Course Description
In Part I of this two-part course on mental skills training, you will learn how your player can strengthen confidence, enhance self-trust, and remain calm and focused under pressure. These skills are fundamental to performance consistency and sport enjoyment, which is why they must be mastered first, before progressing to Part II. You will be provided worksheets and activities to help your player develop long-lasting, healthy routines.
Course Details
Course Structure:
Asynchronous learning where course lectures, materials, and activities can be accessed on your own schedule within a set timeframe. Additionally, there will be three live discussions over Zoom to help guide you through the material.
Time Requirements:
Course participants will need a minimum of 1-2 hours a week to get the most out of the material. This time includes watching the assigned lessons, completing the suggested activities with your player and attending the live meetings.
*A recording of the Zoom meetings will be available if you cannot attend.
Tools:
A computer or electronic device is required to access the digital video lessons. Course participants will also be provided PDF worksheets. It is recommended to print these worksheets and create a binder to easily access the material in the future. You will also need access to Zoom for the live meetings.
