Mentorship for Aspiring CMPCs

CMPC Mentorship is an immersive process designed for aspiring or practicing mental performance consultants. We’ll work together through discussion, feedback, self-reflection, and applied practice to deepen your skills and confidence in working with athletes, coaches, and/or parents.

Who It’s For

As a mental performance consultant who’s passionate about empowering youth athletes, this mentorship is ideal for you if you’re CMPC‑aspirant or early‑career coach looking to:

  • Blend science-backed methods with empathetic communication.

  • Enhance confidence in making decisions under pressure.

  • Align your spiritual and psychological approach to performance work.

What You Will Gain

  • Develop the ability to guide athletes through pressure and emotional regulation.

  • Learn to structure sessions that balance skill-building with empathy.

  • Enhance your ability to provide reflective feedback that fosters growth.

  • Build confidence to deliver evidence-informed mental performance strategies.

    Rates and Additional Information

I offer mentorship at a discounted rate of $125 an hour for individual mentorship sessions and $50 an hour for content review (e.g., audio/video recording observation, handouts, slide decks, and other materials).

All mentorship sessions will be virtual on Zoom or in-person in Brooklyn Heights, NY.

The cadence of mentorship sessions will depend upon your client load, schedule, goals, and needs. Sessions are often once a week, every other week, or once a month. Mentees are recommended to engage in at least one hour of mentorship for every 10 hours of direct client contact.

Mentees who are a good fit for me are detail-oriented, organized, kind, receptive to feedback, take initiative, have integrity, are committed to getting better as a person and professional, and want to excel as a mental performance coach.
